The challenge
Harborlight's development team of three carried 47 applications a year across community foundations, corporate funders, two state agencies and one federal renewal.
Every application started with a hunt through a shared drive for the latest audit, board list and outcome figures. Two LOIs in 2025 went out with the prior year's participant counts.
The team estimated it declined or skipped 11 good-fit opportunities that year for lack of time.
What they did
- Loaded three years of 990s, two audits, 31 funded proposals and FY2025 outcome exports into the Knowledge Vault in one afternoon.
