Can ELIXIR CONSUMERS change anything in QuickBooks Online?
No. The connection is read-only. Journal entries, bills and reclassifications stay with your accountant.
We track grants with classes. Is that enough?
Yes. Classes or locations are how most QuickBooks Online nonprofits separate grants, and ELIXIR CONSUMERS reads expenses by either.
Does it calculate indirect costs?
It applies the rate you set, either your negotiated NICRA or the 15% de minimis rate on modified total direct costs under the 2024 revision of 2 CFR 200, and shows the base it used.
