- Bloomerang REST API (v2), authorized with an API key generated by a Bloomerang administrator. ELIXIR CONSUMERS reads constituents, transactions, funds and interactions and writes interactions and notes. You choose which funds or campaigns count as grant revenue during setup.

ELIXIR CONSUMERS reads organization constituents, grant-related transactions and interactions so a proposal knows the funder's giving history with you, and writes back an interaction when a proposal is submitted or a report is filed.

Data security posture
- Individual donor records are not imported unless you map them; the default scope is organization funders only.
- The API key is encrypted at rest and can be rotated or revoked in Bloomerang.

Will ELIXIR CONSUMERS create gifts in Bloomerang?
No. It writes interactions and notes only. Gift entry stays with your development or finance staff so receipting and revenue reporting are not affected.
Which Bloomerang plan do I need?
Any plan that gives an administrator access to generate an API key. Check with Bloomerang if you are unsure whether your plan includes API access.
Can I limit the sync to certain funds?
Yes. During setup you pick which funds and campaigns represent grant revenue, and only those transactions are read.
